Who we are

The Guardian Network is a non-profit organisation that helps sponsor education for underprivileged children in Africa. We are an ambitious organisation that has very little financial resource, but a great desire to give back to the world and to reach out and help some of the poorest and most vulnerable children achieve something great in their lives. We do this by finding compassionate people who are willing to reach out and help children that are less fortunate than them.

Most African families, who survive on an income of less than £1 a day, cannot afford to send their children to school, and the dramatic increase in orphans and vulnerable children due to poverty, disability and HIV/AIDS, has overwhelmed the capacity of extended families to care for those children

We started our pioneer work with Motale and Limunga, in the coastal town of Limbe, Cameroon in 2009.  Both being orphans, Motale Etongwe and Limunga Mwambo were at risk of not completing their primary education because their guardians could not afford to pay their fees. Thanks to our local volunteer, Orock Eyong, we were able to find sponsors for them and keep them in school.  Our goal is to multiply our  success stories by finding sponsors for more children  for their education or vocational training programme.   There are many children on our waiting list, hoping everyday that someone will change their lives and  give them  an education.
